Knotted Fleece Blanket

One of my friends just moved to Colorado and before she left, I noticed that she didn't really have any huge, SUPER cozy blankets.  So with the crazy Black Friday deals at Joann's, I snagged some fleece for $3 a yard and whipped up this snuggly blanket.  I won't bother to write a tutorial since everyone and their mom's cousin has, but enjoy the finished product!

Brown paper packages tied up with strings...

these are a few of my favorite things! A cozy crochet scarf with some simple wrapping.  {A friend at church has been whipping up these scarves for me to give to teachers, sisters, etc.  Definitely a great go-to present!  Tutorial here}

Pacifier Clips

One of my family's very dear friends just had her second baby, an ADORABLE little girl:)  A few weeks ago, I had purchased a few trims to use for pacifier clips.  Unfortunately, one of them got left behind:'(  But here are the other two!
Supplies:
  • Pretty trims that would be perfect for the baby;)
  • Velcro
  • Suspender clips
Cut 4 pieces velcro that are slightly smaller than the width of the trims
Sew one piece onto the very end.  (I sew a square, and then do an "X" through the middle.)
Sew the second piece about 1/4" away from the first.

Loop the other end through the suspender clip and sew back and forth a few times.

And there you have your adorable pacifier clips!  These are so simple, and certainly beat the store-bought ones!  Now, to find a cute  way to do it for boys:)

Chocolate truffles

Just some yummy bites that Lara and a friend made. Simple enough: crushed Oreos, cream cheese, peppermint extract. Mix until you get the desired consistency and enjoy by the hundreds!;) well maybe not quite. But I'll warn you, you'll eat a lot!
